TRC is working in partnership with a great national provider of specialist residential care for those living with Autism, mental health and learning disabilities of working age.
My client work in partnership with commissioners to deliver responsive, flexible, specialist support in therapeutic, registered residential and supported living settings across England and Wales. Their individual support plans aim to provide the people we support with more choice and control over their own lives.
The Region covered (Gloucestershire, Bristol & Somerset) currently has good CQC reports across the board, minimal agency usage and Registered Managers in all sites.
I am looking for an experienced manager to maintain high standards whilst striving to deliver the best level of care possible, aiming to achieve ‘outstanding’ ratings. Responsibilities:
Work with both the DMD/Registered/Service Managers to formulate and review the annual Operating/Business Plan.
Analyse and report on business performance against achievement of planned objectives and deliverables.
Drive performance by setting clear goals and meeting them.
Deliver budget/above budget performance, return on investment and cash-management targets across the region.
Seek opportunities to improve financial performance and increase efficiency.
Manage financial and capital resources.
Deliver profitable capital projects.
To participate in monthly business reviews conducted by the Divisional Managing Director
To participate in quarterly business reviews with the CEO/CFO
Meet Statutory, Regulatory, audit, compliance, Health & Safety and Security requirements.
Ensure detailed oversight of each service in terms of regulatory compliance and budgetary compliance – implement measures to rectify where concerns identified.
Proactively anticipate and pre-empt Regulator’s demands.
Carrying out regular unannounced and announced visits, reporting any issues or challenges to the Divisional Managing/Director/Responsible/Individual/Nominated Visits.

Essential Criteria:
Professional qualification equivalent to degree level or management qualification (QCF Level 5 in Social Care Management) or working towards this.
Have a strong background in working with adults who display extremely challenging behaviours and knowledge/evidence of supporting people (with learning disabilities,
autism, mental health needs and ABI).
Due to the nature of this post, a full UK driving licence is essential as is a willingness to
travel across the geographical region or elsewhere as required
